Note: We prefer a female with own residence visa Job Description Sales Representative The candidate will be responsible for pitching to new clients and attending meetings to develop businesses, expand clients portfolio and help book the company’s talents. The candidate will have to create and develop a data base of talents which includes but not limited to; speakers, emcees, presenters, magicians, musicians , dancers, entertainment, models, promoters, hostesses, etc.. Books and Coordinates Entertainment The candidate handles the numerous details of booking talent as requested, negotiates rates with both client and talent. The candidate relays final details, answers questions, gets approvals and signatures on contracts and distributes copies to the appropriate in-house personnel. The candidate handles hotel and transportation arrangements and any necessary details for the entertainment act. Follow up with events organiser to make sure that all permits/licenses/checks for entertainment are in place from the authorities. The candidate shall attend events with the main key talents, provide imagery coverage and social coverage of the event on different social channels as well as handling social accounts for company’s website and social accounts. The candidate shall be the key point of contact to book professional photography and videography coverage for events as requested by the client Communicates with clients The candidate e serves as the key point for business development and sales. The sales representative shall work closely with talents in attending the events and act as project manager making sure everything is planned correctly and in place ahead of time. In addition, networking with the clients is a key element of the success of the event and securing future bookings. Manages Data and Calendars The candidate keeps the master calendar of all client activities and all scheduled events and updates it continuously. Adept at maintaining databases and organizing documents, the candidate tracks client agreements and expiration dates, event planning calendars, and can find any contract or event file on the spot. Develops New Ideas In the course of working with entertainment and talent agents, and seeing events through from beginning to end, the candidate inevitably will develop ideas for new talent to hire or new types of events to stage. To advance in their careers, sales representative must take the initiative and propose their ideas, along with research they've conducted into costs, feasibility and availability. Skills and Experience The candidate should have a bachelors degree, or the equivalent years of work experience, plus five years of direct experience in booking entertainment or event planning. He/She must be proficient in the office technology used by the industry or company, or be technically capable of learning it quickly. Self-starters who can work unsupervised, make independent decisions, and are organised and detail-oriented. Key Insights: 1- Sales & business development, pitching for new clients and widening the clients portfolio through reaching out to clients through phone calls and emails. 2- Attend Exhibitions, events and networking functions 3- Creating and developing a database of talents from speakers, entertainment, promoters and hostesses. 4- Book talent, prepare quotations, negotiate rates, draft contracts and get signatures, issue invoices and follow up on payments. 5- Attend events with talents and manage social media from end to end. 6- Develop social media accounts for the company and updates regularly. 7- Update the content on the company’s website regularly. 8- Book tickets and accommodation for talents 9- Collection of payment, managing ads and enquiries to production of materials and onsite management. 10- Liaising with PR agencies when required. 11- Maintaining a robust reporting system of all pending talents bookings and payments.
